A look back at the 2nd edition of Tech & Tonic
The second edition of Tech & Tonic, organized by the accelerator Terro X (Laval Economique) and led by Alexandre de GEAK, brought together a panel of committed players in the Quebec entrepreneurial ecosystem around the theme: “Tech startups in Quebec: the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow”.
The panelists — Farnel (Workind), Tarik (Sports Ai), David (Boreal Ventures) and Alexandra (Siaana Tech)— offered rich and nuanced exchanges, marked by the authenticity, kindness and clarity of their words. Their reflections made it possible to identify concrete levers for the innovation and growth of startups, while highlighting the structural challenges that still need to be overcome.
The audience praised the quality of the exchanges, the accessible tone and the unfiltered sharing of experiences. The event is thus part of a series of meetings that aim to nourish collective reflection on the technological, economic and human issues that are shaping the Quebec of tomorrow.

ANAAIS, an innovative Siaana Tech initiative presented on Quebec AM with Julia Caron, offers a flexible and secure respite for caregivers by connecting them with trained relayers via an application. This project, currently in the pilot phase in Coaticook, aims to reduce the exhaustion of caregivers while promoting a local self-help community.
